You use operating systems (OS) more than you think--in your cars, smart TVs, smart watches, old calculators, and so much more. This presentation focuses on computer operating systems, specifically versions of Windows, MacOS, ChromeOS, and Linux. We will discuss their differences, what devices they can run on, what updates and upgrades you will run into, how to change your OS, and when or where it might no longer be safe to use an OS. Bring your questions!
Presented by Jack Graig-Tiso, head technician and manager at Jackson Hole Computer Clinic (JHCC), where he helps fix computer issues and other electronics problems. A Jackson local since high school, Jack took a temporary job working at JHCC during college that turned into a permanent job with the onset of COVID. Finishing his last college semester online, Jack trained to become one of the technicians at JHCC, and is still there in a leadership role six years later.
