Tips for Success in Growing Tomatoes at Altitude

Love tomatoes and gardening? Growing tomatoes at our high altitude can be difficult.This presentation by University of Wyoming Master Gardener Barb Sands will give you tips and tricks on how to grow tomatoes in this area. As well, there will be some free tomato seeds available to help you get started.

Barb is a certified University of Wyoming Master Gardener residing in Lincoln County. She spends her time creating and delivering timely public outreach programs on a variety of home gardening topics. Sands also writes for local newspapers, conducts horticultural field trips both locally as well as overseas and currently chairs a program highlighting culturally diverse food to grow both in gardens and on balconies.. She is a passionate gardener, foodie, and when not engaged in public outreach, you’ll find her adding native plants to her garden, building bat houses or photographing gardens around town.
