Do you like to discuss what you read but have a hard time committing to book club? The Swap Meet program is for you! Each week, a local elected will lead a discussion on a provocative article they've chosen. Join Wyoming State Representative Andrew Byron in a discussion about: Public Lands
Read the article: Conservative Wyoming Couldn't Stomach Republican Public Land Sale
Rep. Byron says: "I chose this article because it is so important to my constituents, Teton County, and Wyoming. The public lands debate on the federal level was in the spotlight earlier this summer yet the public lands debate at the state level has been very active in HD22, Teton County, and Wyoming for much longer. I have consistently defended our public lands both in campaigns and in service. What is our role as elected officials as it relates to public land management? What control or power over public land does a state Representative actually have? What is the value to our community of public lands, conservation, and wide-open spaces as it relates to both wildlife and recreation?"
