In these interactive sessions, presenters Megan Smith and Maggie Ordoñez Rojas will break down the essentials of budgeting and personal money planning in a way that feels approachable and doable. Whether participants are just getting started or looking to brush up on existing habits, they’ll learn practical strategies for setting financial goals, tracking spending and making decisions that support their long‑term well-being. Registered attendees will be entered for a chance to win one of four $75 gift cards to a local store.

Megan Smith

Megan Smith is a small business owner and systems thinker who, over a decade ago, became very interested in personal finances. She started Deliberate Dollars based on the belief that everyone has the ability to change his/her/their situation. Megan is an action-oriented coach and teacher who helps people create plans and set up systems tailored to their life goals resulting in a sense of abundance and empowerment. Megan has worked with a broad spectrum of people one-on-one and through Deliberate Dollars courses and workshops both locally and state-wide.
 

Maggie Ordóñez Rojas

A seasoned banking executive with over 10 years of experience serving Teton County, Maggie Ordóñez Rojas possesses a comprehensive understanding of the financial services industry. Her expertise spans audit, compliance, risk management, lending, trust and wealth management, retail operations, and is certified by the CCBIA and CCBCO. As a community-focused leader, Maggie is passionate about supporting small local businesses and individuals through high-quality banking services or giving her time through local non-profits. She is the founder of Acoquiza LLC, a company dedicated to bridging the financial knowledge gap through advocacy and education. During her free time, Maggie enjoys spending time with her family. She enjoys backpacking, hiking, and kayaking in the summer and Nordic skiing in the winter.
