Revealing the Depths of the Sagebrush Sea

A Special Presentation of the Jackson Hole Bird & Nature Club.

Please join us for a special evening as Anna Chalfoun presents an update on recent research into the status and life histories of sagebrush dependent bird and animal species in Wyoming extensive sagebrush lands.  How are species such as  Sagebrush Sparrows, Greater Sage-grouse, Pygmy Rabbits, Brewer's Sparrows and Sage Thrashers faring given the dramatic increase in exploitation of natural resources in the sagebrush steppe and human occupation of these once-wild lands?

Dr. Chalfoun is a Research Ecologist with the USGS Wyoming Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Unit and an Associate Professor in the Dept. of Zoology & Physiology at the University of Wyoming.
