Got stories? Of course you do! How many times have you seen something, lived something, thought something, and said, “I should write about that.” This is your chance to not only write about that “something” but learn to present it with skill in the structure of a compelling story. While working on and polishing your story (or first part of your novel) you will learn by helping others improve their work. Skills learned will include story ideas, research, outlining, character development, plot elements, story pacing, building tension and resolution. The workshop will culminate with a "Polished and Ready for Primetime Party" wherein participants will be given the opportunity to share their work with the class as well as family and friends.
