Award-Winning Illustrator Jerry Pinkney. 3-4 p.m.
Join one of the most celebrated illustrators of our time, renowned children’s book author and illustrator, Jerry Pinkney, as he describes the process of book illustration, from choosing the book to its final artful creation. Mr. Pinkney will give a demonstration of his work and a book signing will follow the presentation. Mr. Pinkney is the 2010 Randolph Caldecott Medal winner, the most prestigious picture book award, and a five-time recipient of both the Randolph Caldecott Honor and Coretta Scott King awards.
