Wed, June 22......African “Galimoto” Craft

What is your favorite kind of vehicle? African children recycle all kinds of wire to make toy vehicles they call "galimoto." A galimoto can be a car, truck, bike, plane, boat...anything you can imagine. We will provide the materials; just bring your imagination! However, you are welcome to bring stuff from home to recycle into your one-of-a-kind galimoto.

Thurs, June 30......Mandala Sand Art Craft

Tibetan Buddhists make "mandala" sand paintings, with patterns in the shape of a circle, for meditation. Come and discover the joy and peace of creating an intricate, colorful pattern in sand for your own mandala.

Wed, July 6......World of Music Craft

Make beautiful music with two different harmonicas created from everyday materials. Whether you already play an instrument or are just getting started, you can delight and surprise your friends and family with your talent!

Thurs, July 14......Hot Air Balloon Craft

Would you love to travel by balloon? You can create two balloon crafts -- one for dreams and decoration, and one for fun and laughs. We'll paint both projects: the first with blades for a balloon that will really fly, and the second a hot air balloon similar to a paper lantern.

Note to Caregivers: Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult during storytimes, special events and crafts.
