We're proud to be certified by the national Family Place Libraries network of children's librarians who embrace the fact that literacy begins at birth and believe that libraries can help build healthy communities by nourishing healthy families.

Family Place Libraries are community centers for early literacy & learning, parent education and engagement, family support and community connectivity helping to ensure all children enter school ready and able to learn.

Stay tuned for the safe return of our early literacy programming. In the mean time, keep checking out picture books, themed kits, and 1K B4 K kits. You are your child's earliest and best teacher.

Remember the five easy ways to help your child develop early literacy skills:

  • talk to your child
  • sing to your child
  • read to your child
  • help them write and draw
  • and play with them!
